Lotus Eagle?

Could this be the new face of the Lotus Eagle, these early spy shots have been taken, even though nothing has been officially said about the new lotus, they have confirmed that it will be launched at the British motor show in July. Which is nice, keeping the British heritage in Britain...

The engine of this car is said to be the twin turbo V8 BMW engine shared with the new X6, this mid engined model should take around 4 seconds to get from 0 all the way to 60mph before finally running out of power at 175mph. This 'Eagle' project is an obvous response to the supercar world, as lotus has been lacking a higher power sports car other than the exige and Bond's car of the esprit.

Hopefully this will be worth waiting for...

Facelift for the 911 turbo

While over the years the Porsche 911 hasn't seen any overhauls due to its classic shape, the Germans have decided to tweak some of the styling and mechanical parts of the 911 Turbo. Subtle changes at the front have occured but the major styling changes have happened at the rear which include a new light cluster. Not much has been said about the new turbo, but its release at the Paris motor show will dish the dirt on both its final look and all the mechanical and, hopefully, performance improvements.
